Tri des déchets dans les résidences

Les consignes de tri des déchets dans les résidences de l'ENS sont normalement affichées dans chaque logement. Depuis le début de l'année 2020, TOUS les emballages (plastique, métal, carton et papier) se trient ! Pour rappel : le meilleur déchet est celui que l'on ne produit pas !

• Couvercle jaune : recyclable à jeter en vrac sans sac poubelle !
  • emballages plastiques : bouteilles et flacons en plastique vides et fermés (eau, produits ménagers, gel douche...), pots de yaourt, de crème...
  • cartons : briques alimentaires (lait, jus de fruits...), boites à céréales, à pizzas...
  • papiers : aplatis, non froissés et non découpés
  • métal : canettes, boîtes de conserve (rincées !), aérosols, aluminium (en boule au moins de la taille d'une balle de tennis)...

• Convercle vert : verre, tout (pots, bocaux, bouteilles...) sauf vaisselle et ampoules.
• Compost
  • restes de fruits (sans étiquette) et légumes (non cuits), épluchures...
  • sachets de thé (sans l'agrafe), café
  • papier essuie-tout, mouchoirs (blancs ou écologiques)
  • jamais : viande/poisson/os, produits trop gras, pain, agrumes, produits laitiers et métaux, coquilles d'œufs non broyés, gousses d'ail
  • en cas de doute, jeter avec les déchets ménagers !

English version of recycling instructions

These instructions should be displayed in each apartment of the residences of the ENS. Since the beginning of the year 2020, EVERY packaging (plastic, metal, paper and cardboard) is sorted. As a reminder: the best waste is the one that is never created in the first place!

• the bin with the yellow lid: recycling packaging
  • plastic packaging: empty and closed bottles (water, houshold products, shower gel, etc.), yoghurt cups...
  • cardboard: milk carton, pizza and cereal packagings...
  • paper: flattened, not crumpled and uncut
  • metal: cans, tin boxes (rinsed!), aluminium wrapped into a ball (minimum size of a tennis ball)

• the bin with the green lid : glass everything except for dishes (plates, etc.) and light bulbs
• composting (in a bucket ENvertS can give you)
  • fruit and vegetable leftovers
  • tea bags (without the staple), coffee
  • paper towels, tissues (only the ecological or white ones, no colour!)
  • never: meat/fish/bone, really fatty stuff, citrus, bread, dairy products, metals, egg shells not crushed, garlic cloves
  • if you have any doubts, put it with the general waste!
